What we collect
From Members: name, mobile number, email, the Organizations you belong to, your wagers, tickets and credit ledger, your notification preferences and consent records, and device and log data needed to run and secure the Service. From Organizations: staff accounts, tournament and pool configuration, results, and any Golf Genius API key you provide (stored encrypted). From website visitors: the details you submit on a demo request and basic analytics.
How we use it
To run the Service for your Organization: show odds, issue tickets, settle pools, send the texts and emails you've agreed to, keep the ledger and audit trail, and support you. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising.
Who sees it
Your Organization's admins and staff see your tickets and balance in order to run the tournament. Other Members never see your tickets. Our processors — cloud hosting (Vercel, Supabase), messaging (Twilio, Resend), error monitoring — process data on our behalf under contract. Golf Genius data is read with your Organization's key; we never write to it.
Retention
Ledger and audit records: seven years by default (your Organization may set a different period). Raw notification payloads: 90 days. Raw Golf Genius payloads: one year. Demo requests: until we've followed up and for a reasonable period after.
Your rights
You can download your own ledger and tickets from the app at any time. You can request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing hello@parmutuel.golf; where the law requires us to keep ledger records (or your Organization needs them to pay you) we will tell you what we retain and why. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
Security
Tenant isolation is enforced in the database. Secrets are stored encrypted. The ledger and audit log are append-only and hash-chained. We keep point-in-time backups and test restores. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you we will notify you and your Organization as the law requires.
